This trio of farmyard animals was inspired by a newfound love for them after spending time with them on my in-laws’ farm. Having grown up in the city, despite loving animals, it was a new world to discover the personalities and unique traits of what had always been portrayed as an animal whose only purpose was to work or supply. I went from thinking these animals were cute to realising there was more depth to them than I had ever been led to believe. This trio even includes the family’s beloved horse Tess, who loved the kids and followed them around the paddock like a best friend.
