Paint Your Own Vinyl Record Workshop
In this creative workshop, kids get to transform old vinyl records into their very own works of art! Each child will paint directly onto a vinyl record, designing a unique piece they can proudly take home and display. With a focus on both creativity and technique, this class provides young artists with the freedom to express themselves while learning essential preparation skills for future art projects.
What to Expect:
This hands-on workshop combines play, imagination, and a touch of technical know-how. Kids will be guided step by step, but encouraged to let their creativity lead the way.
Here’s what they’ll experience:
Surface Preparation Basics:
We’ll go over how to properly prepare a vinyl record (and other surfaces) so that their paint adheres well and lasts, building confidence they can use in any future art project.
Creative Freedom:
Each participant will design and paint their own vinyl record — whether it’s abstract, patterned, character-inspired, or totally unique.
Guidance & Support:
Artists will be on hand to help with techniques, ideas, or inspiration whenever needed, while still allowing each child’s individuality to shine through.
Take-Home Art Piece:
By the end of the session, each child will have a one-of-a-kind painted vinyl record to proudly display at home.
